Francisco A. Arabia, MD, MBA, attended the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, and received his medical degree in 1983. Furthermore, he conducted his general surgery residency at Tulane University Affiliate Hospitals in New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition, he completed his cardiothoracic surgery training at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, AZ. Dr. Arabia received board certification in cardiothoracic surgery from the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He completed his engineering undergraduate degree at Tulane University as well as an MBA degree at the University of Arizona in 2006.
